Jehoshaphat said to the judges, Consider what you do, for you judge not for man but for the Lord. He is with you in giving judgment.
2 Chronicles 19:6
Render service with a good will as to the Lord and not to man.
Ephesians 6:7
| 5 He appointed judges in the land in all the fortified cities of Judah, city by city, |

Now then, let the fear of the Lord be upon you. Be careful what you do, for there is no injustice with the Lord our God, or partiality or taking bribes.” |
| 6 not by the way of eye-service, as people-pleasers, but as servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart, |
| 7 rendering service with a good will as to the Lord and not to man, |
| 8 knowing that whatever good anyone does, this he will receive back from the Lord, whether he is a slave or free. |
