An Bíobla Naofa 1981

Ar feadh sé lá déanfaidh tú saothar, ach ar an seachtú lá scoirfidh tú ó obair; fiú i séasúr an treafa agus an fhómhair déanfaidh tú sin.

Eaxodus 34:21

Cén duine agaibh a mbeadh an t-aon chaora amháin aige agus go dtitfeadh sí i bpoll lá sabóide, nach mbéarfadh sé greim uirthi á tarraingt as? Agus is mó is fiú duine ná caora. Dá réir sin, tá sé dleathach an mhaith a dhéanamh lá sabóide.

Matha 12:11-12

Eaxodus 34 (An Bíobla Naofa 1981)

18 Ceiliúir Féile an tSlimaráin; ith arán gan ghabháile mar a d’ordaigh mé duit ag an tráth ceaptha i mí Áibíb, óir i mí Áibíb tháinig sibh amach as tír na hÉigipte.
19 “Is liomsa gach a n-osclaíonn broinn, gach fireannach is céadghin i dtréad nó i dtáin leat.
20 Céadghin asail, fuascail é le huan, nó mura bhfuasclaíonn tú, bris a mhuineál. Fuascail gach céadghin ar do mhic. Ná tagadh aon duine i mo láthair gan rud aige.
21 “Ar feadh sé lá déanfaidh tú saothar, ach ar an seachtú lá scoirfidh tú ó obair; fiú i séasúr an treafa agus an fhómhair déanfaidh tú sin.
22 Ceiliúir Féile na Seachtainí, Féile Chéadtorthaí fómhair na cruithneachta, agus Féile Chlabhsúr an Fhómhair i ndeireadh na bliana.
23 Tagadh do chlann mhac uile i láthair an Tiarna Dia, Dia Iosrael, trí huaire sa bhliain.
24 Nuair a bheidh na ciníocha díbeartha agam romhat, agus fairsinge curtha agam le do chríocha, ní shantóidh aon duine do dhúiche, má thagann tú i láthair an Tiarna do Dhia trí huaire sa bhliain.

Matha 12 (An Bíobla Naofa 1981)

8 Óir tá Mac an Duine ina mháistir ar an tsabóid.
9 D’fhág sé an áit sin agus chuaigh isteach ina sionagóg.
10 Bhí fear ansiúd a raibh lámh leis seargtha, agus chuir siad an cheist seo ar Íosa: “An bhfuil sé dleathach leigheas a dhéanamh lá saboide?” chun go gciontóidís é.
11 Ach dúirt sé leo: “Cén duine agaibh a mbeadh an t-aon chaora amháin aige agus go dtitfeadh sí i bpoll lá sabóide, nach mbéarfadh sé greim uirthi á tarraingt as?
12 Agus is mó is fiú duine ná caora. Dá réir sin, tá sé dleathach an mhaith a dhéanamh lá sabóide.”
13 Ansin dúirt sé leis an duine: “Sín amach do lámh.” Shín, agus rinneadh chomh slán leis an láimh eile arís í.
14 Ach tar éis do na Fairisínigh dul amach, rinne siad comhairle le chéile ina aghaidh chun go millfidís é.
15 Bhí a fhios ag Íosa, áfach, agus chuaigh sé i leataobh as sin. Lean sluaite móra é, agus leigheas sé iad uile,

Eaxodus 34 (English Standard Version)

18 “You shall keep the Feast of Unleavened Bread. Seven days you shall eat unleavened bread, as I commanded you, at the time appointed in the month Abib, for in the month Abib you came out from Egypt.
19 All that open the womb are mine, all your male livestock, the firstborn of cow and sheep.
20 The firstborn of a donkey you shall redeem with a lamb, or if you will not redeem it you shall break its neck. All the firstborn of your sons you shall redeem. And none shall appear before me empty-handed.
21 “Six days you shall work, but on the seventh day you shall rest. In plowing time and in harvest you shall rest.
22 You shall observe the Feast of Weeks, the firstfruits of wheat harvest, and the Feast of Ingathering at the year's end.
23 Three times in the year shall all your males appear before the Lord God, the God of Israel.
24 For I will cast out nations before you and enlarge your borders; no one shall covet your land, when you go up to appear before the Lord your God three times in the year.

Matha 12 (English Standard Version)

8 For the Son of Man is lord of the Sabbath.”
9 He went on from there and entered their synagogue.
10 And a man was there with a withered hand. And they asked him, “Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath?”—so that they might accuse him.
11 He said to them,
“Which one of you who has a sheep, if it falls into a pit on the Sabbath, will not take hold of it and lift it out?
12 Of how much more value is a man than a sheep! So it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath.”
13 Then he said to the man,
“Stretch out your hand.”
And the man stretched it out, and it was restored, healthy like the other.
14 But the Pharisees went out and conspired against him, how to destroy him.
15 Jesus, aware of this, withdrew from there. And many followed him, and he healed them all
