Is sibhse, le bhur súile cinn, a chonaic na héachtaí mora go léir a rinne an Tiarna.

Deotranaimí 11:7

Chonaiceamar agus tugaimid fianaise gur sheol an tAthair uaidh a Mhac, Slánaitheoir an tsaoil.

1 Eoin 4:14

Deotranaimí 11 (An Bíobla Naofa 1981)

4 a ndearna sé le sluaite na hÉigipte, lena n-eacha, agus lena gcarbaid; conas mar a scaoil sé tuilte Mhuir na nGiolcach anuas orthu nuair a bhí siad sa tóir oraibh, agus mar a scrios sé iad gan a rian a fhágáil go dtí an lá seo féin;
5 gach a ndearna sé daoibh san fhásach sular shroich sibh an áit seo;
6 a ndearna sé le Dátán agus le hAibíorám, clann Eilíáb an Reúbaenach – conas mar a d’oscail an talamh a chraos, ansiúd a gcroílár Iosrael go léir, agus a shlog sé iad féin agus a dteaghlaigh, a mbothanna agus gach ní beo a bhí ina seilbh.
7 Ach is sibhse, le bhur súile cinn, a chonaic na héachtaí mora go léir a rinne an Tiarna.
8 “Ní foláir daoibh, dá bhrí sin, na haitheanta go léir a d’ordaigh mé daoibh inniu a choimeád, d’fhonn go mbeadh sé ar bhur gcumas dul isteach agus seilbh a ghabháil ar an tír ar a bhfuil bhur dtriall anonn agus bhur gcuid féin a dhéanamh de,
9 agus saol fada a bheith agaibh sa tír a mhionnaigh an Tiarna do bhur n-aithreacha a thabharfadh sé dóibhsean agus dá sliocht, tír ina mbeadh bainne agus mil ina slaoda.
10 An fearann a bhfuil tú le dul isteach ann lena shealbhú, ní ionann é agus tír na hÉigipte óna dtáinig sibh, mar ar chuir tú do shíol agus a rinne tú é a uisciú le do chois dála garraí luibheanna.

1 Eoin 4 (An Bíobla Naofa 1981)

11 A chairde cléibh, ós fíor gur thug Dia grá dúinne nach mithid dúinne grá a thabhairt dá chéile.
12 Ní fhaca aon duine Dia riamh. Má thugaimid grá dá chéile maireann Dia ionainn agus is lánfhoirfe ionainn a ghrá.
13 Mar seo a thuigimid go mairimid ann agus go maireann seisean ionainn, gur bhronn sé orainn riar dá Spiorad féin.
14 Agus chonaiceamar agus tugaimid fianaise gur sheol an tAthair uaidh a Mhac, Slánaitheoir an tsaoil.
15 Cibé admhaíonn gurb é Íosa Mac Dé maireann Dia ann agus maireann seisean i nDia.
16 Agus is feasach dúinn agus creidimid an grá atá ag Dia dúinn. Is grá é Dia agus an té a mhaireann sa ghrá maireann i nDia agus maireann Dia ann.
17 Seo mar atá an grá lánfhoirfe ionainn, go mbeimis lánmhuiníneach in aghaidh lá an bhreithiúnais, óir faoi mar atá seisean is amhlaidh atáimidne sa saol seo.

Your eyes have seen all the great work of the Lord that he did.

Deuteronomy 11:7

We have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world.

1 John 4:14

Deotranaimí 11 (English Standard Version)

4 and what he did to the army of Egypt, to their horses and to their chariots, how he made the water of the Red Sea flow over them as they pursued after you, and how the Lord has destroyed them to this day,
5 and what he did to you in the wilderness, until you came to this place,
6 and what he did to Dathan and Abiram the sons of Eliab, son of Reuben, how the earth opened its mouth and swallowed them up, with their households, their tents, and every living thing that followed them, in the midst of all Israel.
7 For your eyes have seen all the great work of the Lord that he did.
8 “You shall therefore keep the whole commandment that I command you today, that you may be strong, and go in and take possession of the land that you are going over to possess,
9 and that you may live long in the land that the Lord swore to your fathers to give to them and to their offspring, a land flowing with milk and honey.
10 For the land that you are entering to take possession of it is not like the land of Egypt, from which you have come, where you sowed your seed and irrigated it, like a garden of vegetables.

1 Eoin 4 (English Standard Version)

11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.
12 No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God abides in us and his love is perfected in us.
13 By this we know that we abide in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit.
14 And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world.
15 Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God.
16 So we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him.
17 By this is love perfected with us, so that we may have confidence for the day of judgment, because as he is so also are we in this world.
