13 Laat dié wat my vals beskuldig, self in die ellende beland en vernietig word. Laat oor dié wat my ondergang soek, net skande en mislukking kom.
14 Ek, ek sal gedurigdeur bly hoop, ek sal U altyd weer loof.
15 Sonder ophou sal ek van u verlossingswerk, van u reddingsdade bly praat, want hulle is meer as wat ek kan tel.
16 Ek kom om u magtige dade te prys, Here my God, die verlossingswerk wat net U kan doen.
17 U het my van jongs af onderrig, o God, en ek getuig nou nog van u kragtige dade.
18 Nou dat ek oud en grys geword het, moet U my tog nie alleen laat nie, o God, dat ek nog aan die geslagte wat kom, kan vertel van u werk en u mag.
19 U verlossingswerk, o God, is oneindig groot; groot is die dinge wat U gedoen het! Wie is soos U, o God?

13 May my accusers be put to shame and consumed;
with scorn and disgrace may they be covered
who seek my hurt.
14 But I will hope continually
and will praise you yet more and more.
15 My mouth will tell of your righteous acts,
of your deeds of salvation all the day,
for their number is past my knowledge.
16 With the mighty deeds of the Lord God I will come;
I will remind them of your righteousness, yours alone.
17 O God, from my youth you have taught me,
and I still proclaim your wondrous deeds.
18 So even to old age and gray hairs,
O God, do not forsake me,
until I proclaim your might to another generation,
your power to all those to come.
