Bybel in Afrikaans (1983-vertaling)

Elkeen wat hom voor die mense openlik vir My uitspreek, vir hom sal Ek My ook openlik uitspreek voor my Vader wat in die hemel is.

Matteus 10:32

Romeine 10:10

Matteus 10 (Bybel in Afrikaans (1983-vertaling))

35 Ek het gekom om tweedrag te bring 'tussen 'n man en sy vader en tussen 'n dogter en haar moeder, tussen 'n skoondogter en haar skoonmoeder;

Romeine 10 (Bybel in Afrikaans (1983-vertaling))

Dit maak dus geen verskil of 'n mens 'n Jood of 'n Griek is nie, want dieselfde Here is Here van almal, en Hy seën almal wat Hom aanroep, ryklik,

English Standard Version

Everyone who acknowledges me before men, I also will acknowledge before my Father who is in heaven.

Matthew 10:32

With the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.

Romans 10:10

Matteus 10 (English Standard Version)

29 Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? And not one of them will fall to the ground apart from your Father.
30 But even the hairs of your head are all numbered.
31 Fear not, therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.
32 So everyone who acknowledges me before men, I also will acknowledge before my Father who is in heaven,
33 but whoever denies me before men, I also will deny before my Father who is in heaven.
34 “Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I have not come to bring peace, but a sword.
35 For I have come to set a man against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.

Romeine 10 (English Standard Version)

7 or “‘Who will descend into the abyss?’” (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead).
8 But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith that we proclaim);
9 because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
10 For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.
11 For the Scripture says, “Everyone who believes in him will not be put to shame.”
12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, bestowing his riches on all who call on him.
13 For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
