Bybel in Afrikaans (1983-vertaling)

Jesaja 65:24

Psalm 22 (Bybel in Afrikaans (1983-vertaling))

2 My God, my God, waarom het U my verlaat en bly U ver as ek om hulp roep?

Jesaja 65 (Bybel in Afrikaans (1983-vertaling))

My volk sal so oud word soos 'n boom.
Op my heilige berg sal niks verkeerds gedoen word nie, niks vernietig word nie, sê die Here.

English Standard Version

O my God, I cry by day, but you do not answer, and by night, but I find no rest.

Psalm 22:2

Before they call I will answer; while they are yet speaking I will hear.

Isaiah 65:24

Psalm 22 (English Standard Version)

1 My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?
Why are you so far from saving me, from the words of my groaning?
2 O my God, I cry by day, but you do not answer,
and by night, but I find no rest.
3 Yet you are holy,
enthroned on the praises of Israel.
4 In you our fathers trusted;
they trusted, and you delivered them.
5 To you they cried and were rescued;
in you they trusted and were not put to shame.

Jesaja 65 (English Standard Version)

21 They shall build houses and inhabit them;
they shall plant vineyards and eat their fruit.
22 They shall not build and another inhabit;
they shall not plant and another eat;
for like the days of a tree shall the days of my people be,
and my chosen shall long enjoy the work of their hands.
23 They shall not labor in vain
or bear children for calamity,
for they shall be the offspring of the blessed of the Lord,
and their descendants with them.
24 Before they call I will answer;
while they are yet speaking I will hear.
25 The wolf and the lamb shall graze together;
the lion shall eat straw like the ox,
and dust shall be the serpent's food.
They shall not hurt or destroy
in all my holy mountain,”
says the Lord.
