An Bíobla Naofa 1981

Suífidh mé ina ndúiche féin iad, agus go deo arís ní sracfar iad ón tír atá tugtha agamsa dóibh, a deir an Tiarna, bhur nDia.

Amós 9:15

Cuirfidh mé mo spiorad ionaibh agus beidh sibh beo, agus socróidh mé sibh síos in bhur dtír féin. Ansin a thuigfidh sibh gur mise, an Tiarna, a labhair, agus gur mise a rinne é – an Tiarna a labhraíonn.

Eizicéil 37:14

Amós 9 (An Bíobla Naofa 1981)

12 ionas go mbeidh ar a gcumas iarmhar Eadóm
agus na náisiúin uile arb é m’ainmse atá orthu a ghabháil,”
a deir an Tiarna, an té a chuirfidh na nithe sin i gcríoch.
13 “Féach, tiocfaidh na laethanta,” a deir an Tiarna,
“nuair a thiocfaidh an treabhdóir suas leis an mbuannaí,
agus fear brúite na bhfíonchaor suas leis an síoladóir;
silfidh na sléibhte fíon milis
a rithfidh ina slaoda ón uile chnoc.
14 Cuirfidh mé bail ar mo phobal Iosrael athuair;
tógfaidh siad na cathracha scriosta agus cónóidh siad iontu;
cuirfidh siad fíniúna agus ólfaidh siad a bhfíon;
saothróidh siad gairdíní agus íosfaidh siad dá dtorthaí.
15 Suífidh mé ina ndúiche féin iad, agus go deo arís ní sracfar iad
ón tír atá tugtha agamsa dóibh,”
a deir an Tiarna, bhur nDia.

Eizicéil 37 (An Bíobla Naofa 1981)

11 Dúirt sé liom ansin: “A mhic an duine, is iad na cnámha seo muintir Iosrael uile. Féach, deir siad: ‘Tá ár gcnámha seargtha agus ár ndóchas caillte; tá deireadh linn.’
12 Tairngir dá bhrí sin agus abair leo: Seo mar a deir an Tiarna Dia: Féach, a phobal liom, tá mé chun bhur n-uaigheanna a oscailt, chun sibh a thabhairt aníos as bhur n-uaigheanna, agus seolfaidh mé abhaile sibh go tír Iosrael.
13 Tuigfidh sibh gur mise an Tiarna nuair a osclóidh mé bhur n-uaigheanna, nuair a thabharfaidh mé aníos sibh as bhur n-uaigheanna, a phobal liom.
14 Cuirfidh mé mo spiorad ionaibh agus beidh sibh beo, agus socróidh mé sibh síos in bhur dtír féin. Ansin a thuigfidh sibh gur mise, an Tiarna, a labhair, agus gur mise a rinne é – an Tiarna a labhraíonn.”
15 Tháinig briathar an Tiarna chugam:
16 “A mhic an duine, glac chugat bata agus scríobh air: ‘Thar ceann Iúdá agus chlann Iosrael i gcomhar leis.’ Glac bata eile ansin agus scríobh air: ‘Thar ceann Iósaef, bata Eafráim, agus muintir Iosrael uile atá i gcomhar leis.’
17 Táthaigh le chéile iad in aon bhata amháin ionas go mba aon bhata amháin i do láimh iad.

12 that they may possess the remnant of Edom
and all the nations who are called by my name,”

13 “Behold, the days are coming,” declares the Lord,
“when the plowman shall overtake the reaper
and the treader of grapes him who sows the seed;
the mountains shall drip sweet wine,
and all the hills shall flow with it.
14 I will restore the fortunes of my people Israel,
and they shall rebuild the ruined cities and inhabit them;
they shall plant vineyards and drink their wine,
and they shall make gardens and eat their fruit.
15 I will plant them on their land,

Eizicéil 37 (English Standard Version)

11 Then he said to me, “Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel. Behold, they say, ‘Our bones are dried up, and our hope is lost; we are indeed cut off.’
12 Therefore prophesy, and say to them, Thus says the Lord God: Behold, I will open your graves and raise you from your graves, O my people. And I will bring you into the land of Israel.
13 And you shall know that I am the Lord, when I open your graves, and raise you from your graves, O my people.
14 And I will put my Spirit within you, and you shall live, and I will place you in your own land. Then you shall know that I am the Lord; I have spoken, and I will do it, declares the Lord.”
15 The word of the Lord came to me:
16 “Son of man, take a stick and write on it, ‘For Judah, and the people of Israel associated with him’; then take another stick and write on it, ‘For Joseph (the stick of Ephraim) and all the house of Israel associated with him.’
17 And join them one to another into one stick, that they may become one in your hand.
