11 Ach tusa, a Thiarna, bíodh trua agat dom;
déan mo thógáil arís go ndíolfaidh mé an comhar leo.
12 Ansin beidh a fhios agam go bhfuil lé agat liom
nuair nach ndéanfaidh m’eascairde a mbua a mhaíomh orm.
13 Má dhéanfaidh tú trua dom tabharfaidh tú slán mé
agus cuirfidh tú i mo sheasamh i do láthair go brách mé.
14 Moladh leis an Tiarna Dia Iosrael go brách.

4 Eoin chun na seacht n-eaglaisí san Áise: Grásta chugaibh, agus síocháin ón té atá, a bhí, agus atá le teacht, agus ó na seacht spiorad os comhair a ríchathaoireach
5 agus ó Íosa Críost an finné dílis, an chéadghin ó mhairbh, rialtóir ríthe an domhain. Don té a bheir grá dúinn, agus a scaoil sinn ónár gcionta trína fhuil féin,
6 agus a rinne ríocht agus sagairt dá Dhia agus dá athair dínn, don té sin go raibh glóir agus cumhacht ar feadh na síoraíochta. Amen.
7 Féach, tá sé ag teacht ar néalta neimhe, agus feicfidh gach duine lena súile cinn é, fiú iad siúd a tholl é, agus beidh ciníocha uile an domhain ag déanamh mairgní dá bharr. Abair é! Amen.
8 “Mise an tAlfa agus an tÓimige,” a deir an Tiarna Dia, an té atá, a bhí agus atá le teacht, an tUilechumhachtach.
9 Mise Eoin bhur mbráthair atá páirteach libh in Íosa sa duainéis, sa ríocht agus san fhoighne. Bhí mé san oileán ar a dtugtar Patmos ar son briathar Dé a fhógairt agus fianaise Íosa.

3 Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear, and who keep what is written in it, for the time is near.

Grace to you and peace from him who is and who was and who is to come, and from the seven spirits who are before his throne,
5 and from Jesus Christ the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of kings on earth.

7 Behold, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him, and all tribes of the earth will wail on account of him. Even so. Amen.
8 “I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”
9 I, John, your brother and partner in the tribulation and the kingdom and the patient endurance that are in Jesus, was on the island called Patmos on account of the word of God and the testimony of Jesus.
