An Briathar do Déardaoin, 25 Aibreán, 2024

An Bíobla Naofa 1981

Slánaigh mé a Thiarna, agus beidh mé slán go cinnte, sábháil mé agus beidh mé sábháilte, óir is tú amháin mo [dhóchas].

Irimia 17:14

Ghabh Íosa ar fud na Gailíle go léir, ag teagasc sna sionagóga, ag fógairt dea-scéil na ríochta, agus ag leigheas gach galar agus gach éagruas i measc an phobail.

Matha 4:23

Irimia 17 (An Bíobla Naofa 1981)

11 Gorfaidh an phatraisc uibheacha nár rug sí,
is mar sin don fhear a bhain saibhreas, agus nach le ceart;
ní mór dó scarúint leis i lár a laethanta,
agus ina chríoch dhéanach fágfar ina amadán é.”
12 Is ríchathaoir ghlórmhar,
suite in airde ó thosach,
áit ár sanctóra.
13 Ó, a Thiarna, a Dhóchas Iosrael!
Beidh náire ar gach aon a thréigeann thusa,
na daoine a iompaíonn uaitse
sracfar ó fhréamh iad as an tír,
de bhrí gur thréig siad foinsí an uisce bheo.
14 Slánaigh mé a Thiarna, agus beidh mé slán go cinnte,
sábháil mé agus beidh mé sábháilte,
óir is tú amháin mo [dhóchas].
15 Féach, deir siad liom gan scor:
“Cá bhfuil briathar an Tiarna?
Tagadh sé i gcrích anois.”
16 Ach maidir liomsa,
níor spreag mé riamh thú chun an oilc,
ní mó ba mhian liom an lá mairgneach,
tá a fhios seo agatsa;
ní raibh an rud a tháinig as mo bhéal i bhfolach ort.
17 Ná bí i do uafás domsa, tusa, is dídean dom i lá an oilc.

Matha 4 (An Bíobla Naofa 1981)

20 D’fhág siad na líonta láithreach agus lean siad é.
21 Bhuail sé ar aghaidh, agus chonaic sé beirt dearthár eile, Séamas mac Zeibidé agus Eoin a dheartháir: bhí siad sa bhád in éineacht lena n-athair, Zeibidé, ag cóiriú a gcuid líonta; agus ghlaoigh sé iad.
22 D’fhág siad an bád agus a n-athair láithreach agus lean siad é.
23 Agus ghabh Íosa ar fud na Gailíle go léir, ag teagasc sna sionagóga, ag fógairt dea-scéil na ríochta, agus ag leigheas gach galar agus gach éagruas i measc an phobail.
24 Chuaigh a chlú ar fud na Síre go léir, agus tugadh cách a bhí tinn ó gach sort galair nó ag fulaingt piolóidí, daoine a raibh deamhain iontu, nó an titimeas orthu nó an phairilis, agus leigheas sé iad.
25 Agus lean sluaite móra é ón nGailíl, ó Dheacapoil, ó Iarúsailéim, ó Iúdáia agus ó thar an Iordáin.

English Standard Version

Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved, for you are my praise.

Jeremiah 17:14 (ESV)

Jesus went throughout all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom and healing every disease and every affliction among the people.

Matthew 4:23 (ESV)

Irimia 17 (English Standard Version)

11 Like the partridge that gathers a brood that she did not hatch,
so is he who gets riches but not by justice;
in the midst of his days they will leave him,
and at his end he will be a fool.
12 A glorious throne set on high from the beginning
is the place of our sanctuary.
13 O Lord, the hope of Israel,
all who forsake you shall be put to shame;
those who turn away from you shall be written in the earth,
for they have forsaken the Lord, the fountain of living water.
14 Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed;
save me, and I shall be saved,
for you are my praise.
15 Behold, they say to me,
“Where is the word of the Lord?
Let it come!”
16 I have not run away from being your shepherd,
nor have I desired the day of sickness.
You know what came out of my lips;
it was before your face.
17 Be not a terror to me;
you are my refuge in the day of disaster.

Matha 4 (English Standard Version)

20 Immediately they left their nets and followed him.
21 And going on from there he saw two other brothers, James the son of Zebedee and John his brother, in the boat with Zebedee their father, mending their nets, and he called them.
22 Immediately they left the boat and their father and followed him.
23 And he went throughout all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom and healing every disease and every affliction among the people.
24 So his fame spread throughout all Syria, and they brought him all the sick, those afflicted with various diseases and pains, those oppressed by demons, epileptics, and paralytics, and he healed them.
25 And great crowds followed him from Galilee and the Decapolis, and from Jerusalem and Judea, and from beyond the Jordan.
