Reina-Valera 1995

Salmo 5,11

Jehová, el Señor, me ayuda, no me avergoncé.

Isaías 50,7

Salmo 5 (Reina-Valera 1995)

8 Guíame, Jehová, en tu justicia,
a causa de mis enemigos;
endereza delante de mí tu camino.
9 En la boca de ellos no hay sinceridad;
11 Pero alégrense todos los que en ti confían;
den voces de júbilo para siempre,
porque tú los defiendes;
12 Tú, Jehová, bendecirás al justo;

para saber hablar palabras al cansado;
despertará mañana tras mañana,
despertará mi oído
para que escuche como los sabios.
5 Jehová, el Señor, me abrió el oído,
y yo no fui rebelde
ni me volví atrás.
6 Di mi cuerpo a los heridores
y mis mejillas a los que me mesabanla barba;
no me avergoncé;
¡Acérquese a mí!

English Standard Version

Let all who take refuge in you rejoice; let them ever sing for joy, and spread your protection over them.

Psalm 5:11

The Lord God helps me; therefore I have not been disgraced.

Isaiah 50:7

Salmo 5 (English Standard Version)

8 Lead me, O Lord, in your righteousness
because of my enemies;
make your way straight before me.
9 For there is no truth in their mouth;
their inmost self is destruction;
their throat is an open grave;
they flatter with their tongue.
10 Make them bear their guilt, O God;
let them fall by their own counsels;
because of the abundance of their transgressions cast them out,
for they have rebelled against you.
11 But let all who take refuge in you rejoice;
let them ever sing for joy,
and spread your protection over them,
that those who love your name may exult in you.
12 For you bless the righteous, O Lord;
you cover him with favor as with a shield.

Isaías 50 (English Standard Version)

4 The Lord God has given me
the tongue of those who are taught,
that I may know how to sustain with a word
him who is weary.
Morning by morning he awakens;
he awakens my ear
to hear as those who are taught.
5 The Lord God has opened my ear,
and I was not rebellious;
I turned not backward.
6 I gave my back to those who strike,
and my cheeks to those who pull out the beard;
I hid not my face
from disgrace and spitting.
7 But the Lord God helps me;
therefore I have not been disgraced;
therefore I have set my face like a flint,
and I know that I shall not be put to shame.
8 He who vindicates me is near.
Who will contend with me?
Let us stand up together.
Who is my adversary?
Let him come near to me.
9 Behold, the Lord God helps me;
who will declare me guilty?
Behold, all of them will wear out like a garment;
the moth will eat them up.
10 Who among you fears the Lord
and obeys the voice of his servant?
Let him who walks in darkness
and has no light
trust in the name of the Lord
and rely on his God.
